There may be some questions regarding a double-hit as we discussed at our meeting on Sept. 26th. Here's a super
slow-motion video of a double-hit that you may find helpful in understanding the foul:

The table ranking system is now operational. You can rate tables by clicking the "Rate a Table"
button on the navigation bar above. A rating page will appear. Click a few rating #'s and submit
the info. It's simple! I'll post the information as soon as 6 submissions are received and the info
will be updated weekly. Every person on your team can vote on each table in the league. I'd
appreciate 1 vote per person per table so that I don't get overwhelmed with the submissions.
The totals posted are averages for each category so, sending several submissions may not
change any ratings significantly. It's just for fun anyway.

Just a couple of notes on this rating system:
  • The category for cloth condition is very arbitrary. Because the cloth is new and clean
doesn't automatically rate it a "5". Sometimes, new cloth doesn't play well or is not a
    good quality.
  • The cue ball should have a green Aramith or Cougar logo on it. If it does and it's clean, it
should rate a "5". Cue balls without the green logos should rate no higher than a "4".

Week #17 Standings and Stats are posted

We've made a change to the "Stats Page" that I hope you'll find useful.
There's now a link to a page called "Weekly Results". There, you'll find the
scratch and handicap scores of the past week's matches and you'll be
able to see the upcoming week's matches.

There are some very popular tournaments being held in Auburn, NY
during the month of February. There's info on our Tourneys and Events
page and a link to the info here:
